For all those interested, my sister reports that Barbie did *not* rise from the grave on the 3rd day . . .
The night my sister and her best friend found out about Mattel taking over PC, they got a Barbie out and crucified her. [img]eek.gif[/img]
So maybe that's sacreligious and/or disturbing, but they were very upset about the Mattel buy out at the time.
They were about 13-14.

BTW, I was touching up my Elizabeth Cady Stanton doll's little ringlets today and it is a night mare to keep those things nice and non-frizzy. She has ones similar the the pic on Curt's page as bangs and one the side of her face. Pretty, but a pain. I am working on pics to post.
Very funny story! I'm mad at Mattel, too, but unfortunately, I'm too attached to my Barbies to do anything to them. I don't play with them anymore, but I still love them.
But, I will gladly do something to a Bratz doll because I DO NOT like them at all!
